Kitchen
The slowest room in any house and the one most likely to break. Glass and stemware go in cell boxes, plates on edge rather than stacked, and the cupboard contents stay grouped so unpacking follows the same logic.
Fragile only
You pack the books and the linen, we do the china, the mirrors, the lamps and the pictures. This is the option most people actually want, and it is usually a few hours rather than a day.
Whole home
Everything boxed, labelled by room and loaded the next day or the same day. Worth it when the move is close and the time is not there.
Art, mirrors and TVs
Corner protection, a mirror carton and a crate where a carton will not do. Tell us the largest piece and we will tell you what it needs.
Unpacking
The same crew, in reverse: boxes opened, contents placed, cartons and paper taken away rather than left in a pile in the garage.
How is packing priced?
Packing is charged at its own hourly rate — $79 an hour for two packers, $119 for three — with the same 3-hour minimum. Materials are quoted separately.
Do you supply the boxes?
We can, and they are quoted separately from the labour, because boxes are something you keep and hours are something you use. Pads, stretch wrap and straps come with the crew at no charge — those go back on the truck.
Can you pack the day before the move?
Usually, and for a whole-home pack it is the better plan: a full day of packing followed by a full day of loading beats trying to do both at once with a truck waiting outside.
What if I only want the kitchen done?
That is a normal booking. Tell us which rooms, and the estimate covers those hours only.
Tell us the two addresses and the date
That is enough for a written estimate with the hours, the truck and the drive time spelled out. You are talking to the owner, not a call centre.
